Topic: THE DWELLERS OF GOD’S SECRET PLACE.

Text: Psalm 15, Psalm 91:1

 

The Message: 

 

There is a secret place existing somewhere and there is also a public place. There is a broadway where many people can walk through. 

There are places that can accommodate few people.

There are times you say the truth because you are being compelled to speak it. 

 

*The nature of the secret place of God. *

There are secret places. The witchcraft coven is also a secret place. They go there to draw power and for safety. Even though what they get there is for a season. What we get from the secret place of God is eternal. There are secret places both in darkness and then in light. 

God doesn’t have you in that common place so automatically devil has you. 

 

There are places you can’t just enter, the calibre of people in that place isn’t common. 

The secret place of God is a place of quietness. It’s the holy hill of God, a place of refreshment, personal intimacy, revival, discussion with God.

The nature of the secret place of God is not a place where everything goes. It’s not every song, dressing, or anything that goes. It’s a holy place. It’s a place where God himself commit himself to man. Where God makes himself known to man. 

 

The reason why men are shallow today is because they have left the secret place to chase shadow with gifts and talents. Our heart is not right with God today. We distance our heart from God as we want to take over his work in our life.

 

The things that are not permitted in the secret place

 

1. Walking in the counsel of the ungodly is not fit for the secret place of God.

God has his ways, the devil also has his ways, then men have their ways. If you walk in the way of the sinner, you can’t get to the presence of God. Damaging your body is damaging the temple of God. 

2. Not saying the truth makes us lose the presence of the Lord. The things we do shows that we don’t know God. When you are polluted, power can’t work in your life. 

 

Until we come back to God to be rearranged, restructured, God won’t say anything to us. We would be walking without direction. 

 

3. Doing evil to your neighbors. Do not pay evil for evil. 

 

People that walk in righteousness, and does not lie cannot be moved. Temptation will come, but they can’t be moved.

 

Benefit of the presence of God

 

1. Internal life. It means you are holy, righteous and pure in heart. It gives you internal rest.

2. Safety. A thousand shall fall by your side and ten thousand shall fall but they won’t come near you. You will be unpredictable by the enemy. It will be hard for people to dribble you. 

3. Fruitfulness. Our fruitfulness lies in abiding in God. 

4. The plan of God will be reveal to you. Genesis 18 vs 17

 

Abraham was a friend of God, a man always fellowshipping with God.  God could commit his secret with him.

 

Do you desire to have the secret of God, have you been swayed with modernization or civilization and are you the type the devil is kicking here and there, then you must come to dwell at the secret place of God today.

Before Ministration

1. Father, purify my body, soul and spirit in the name of Jesus

2. O God my father, open my heart to your word in the name of Jesus

3. Word of God, transform my life today in the name of Jesus

4. Every problem in my life, melt away in the presence of the lord.

 

After Ministration

1. Oh God, help me not fade away in Jesus name.
