Topic: Connecting to the creative power of God
Text: Genesis 1:1-10

The Message:

To connect with creative power is to align with God to guide your thoughts and ideas.
There are lots of ideas you have that are not empowered by God.

Creativity is not just an artistic display or the art of writing. It's divine inspiration from God.

May the power to create what is not in existence fall upon your life in the name of Jesus. (Amen)

When you're in your business, that is when creativity comes into being. Poor people will remain poor because they lie; poverty energises their body's capability.

The ability to bring forth new things through divine inspiration is called CREATIVITY

Genesis 1,  in the beginning God created heaven and earth, that was the first creation. The bible says let there be light, and there was light.

As a designer, you need your own creation. There are some in their place of work, departments that are unknown because they are not creative.

Things you have to do for your name to be heard

1. Recognise God as the source of all creativity.
What is God putting in your heart? The impression on your mind from God is the creative power.

2. Be filled with the holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit will release ideas to you. Tell someone, "beloved, don't sit on the fence". The bible calls the holy Spirit comforter, the teacher of all things.

3. Renewing your mind daily to unlock divine ideas. Your mind should not be clogged with dirty thoughts. If your thoughts are impure, you cannot receive creative power. When your thinking aligns with God's word, you'll see possibilities.

4. Abide in Christ, God is the vine, and we are the branches. Creative power will flow when there's a link between you and God. 

5. Speaking and declaring words of faith in your mouth: By faith, speak possibilities for your life. Speak the words by faith in your mouth. This will help to connect and activate the creative power of God.

6. Work in wisdom and diligence. Proverbs 22:29 talks about the man who is diligent in his business; he will stand before kings and not mean men.

7. God's inspired ideas require effort and commitment for it to manifest. 

8. Pray for divine ideas and wisdom: When you stay rooted with God and guided by God, you'll begin to operate beyond human knowledge.
