Topic: FORCES THAT LIMIT POTENTIALS

 

Text: Proverb 18 vs 16

The Message:

I prophesy; in your own generation, You will eat and dine with great people in Jesus name 

 

There is nothing God cannot do, God has the capacity to raise any man. God doesn't look at your qualifications.

The Bible says if the Lord lifts you up, nobody can bring you down.

 By redemption, every child of God created in his image and likeness carries a divine potential in him or her.

 

Nobody was created to be poor or useless. What will make you stand before great men or women, God in his infinite mercies has deposited it in you.

 

There is a potential in every man/ woman and that has make him/her to succeed in life. 

Even God wants you to succeed in Jeremiah 29 vs 11, and also want you to make a great impact in life.

 

What is potentials?

It is a  measure/dimension of the ability of God that has been given to a man.

The totality of greatness, that is locked up inside of you.

People whose life you are suppose to change but you are yet to change.

 Wherever you find yourself, your life must affect others.

 

Ancient Facts about potential

1. The greatest tragedy in life is not death but a life that never realized his full potential.

2. If you die with your potential, you rub mankind of something that is valuable.

‘I pray for you this morning, that everything that God invested in you, will not be wasted in Jesus name.’

3. What is inside of you, is greater than what you are on the outside.

4. There is something in you more precious than what others have said about you. The word of God is more important than the word of men.

 

Forces that can limit potentials

1. Negative environment: the kind of environment man finds himself can limit a man.

2. Wrong association: know the kind of people you associate with. Move and associates with people that will challenge your life.

3. The power of sin

4. Lack of wisdom

5. Laziness: The Bible says a lazy man will stand before mere men.

6. Pride: God lifts up the humble and resist the proud.

7. Prayerlessness

8. Generational curses

9. Sexual immorality

10. Scriptural ignorance

 

What must we do to arrest the forces that limit potentials?

i. Become a friend of Jesus

ii. Repent from known and unknown sin.

iii. Be prepare to wage war against any forces that want to limit the potential of God inside of you.

 

I pray for you, your generation will hear your voice..

PRAYER POINT

Before Ministration:

1. Worship the Lord, appreciate him for the miracle of sleeping and waking up.

2. Lift up two your hands, and sing any song to appreciate God.

3. Powers that wants me to be forgotten on the day of my promotion/ blessings, you are a liar, Die!

4. The battle of my mother/ my father that wants to repeat itself in my life, you are a liar, Die!

5. My stolen oil, hear the word of the Lord , come upon my life in the name of Jesus

 

After Ministration

1. I will not  die like this ..... make this declaration seven times.

2. Powers drawing the circle of limitations around my life, you are a liar, Die!

3. Powers in my father's house, that wants to bury the oil of greatness in my life, you are a liar, Die!
