Topic: CAPACITY BUILDING FOR A GLORIOUS MARRIAGE (PART 4).

 

Text: Proverbs 24:3-4

 

The Message: 

The first capacity is love.

You can start a building yet inhabited.

- When you go into a marriage, you need vision and wisdom. For that marriage to be established, you need the application of the knowledge you carry. Lack of wisdom is a big problem for marriage that isn’t working. The devil knows our greatest problem is lack of accessible to knowledge and wisdom. When we know better, we would do better. To seek wisdom, you need to listen to messages, read books on a daily basis. Wisdom will preserve you, understanding will sustain you. Wisdom will help you to make right decisions.

- Faith in God and each other sustains marriage through difficult times. Your faith must be built on God. 

There is no perfect man. If there is nothing you can fix in his life, then there is no need. There are many people that their destiny are hanging in the hands of their spouse. 

Don’t give up because God has not given up on you.

- Each of you must appreciate each other in marriage.

- Honesty and truthfulness. It builds trust in marriage. 

- Partnership and togetherness are needed in marriage. If the devil is going to attack your marriage, it start from what two of you are doing together.  Carelessness and hardness of heart destroys marriage faster.

- Be self controlled and disciplined. It helps in managing emotions and reactions.

- Commitment to growth. 

- Invest in each other. You have no business buying television when you don’t have a vision. Men don’t like women that don’t know what they want for their lives. Sister, if you don’t develop yourself, while your husband is developing himself, his success will expose your inadequacy. 

- Contentment in marriage. Contentment is you having the understanding that what you have is the best for you.
